GNSS Software Development
NSL has longstanding experience and expertise in satellite navigation, including participation in over thirty Galileo projects to date. These projects cover the definition and development and in-orbit validation phases of the Galileo Programme.

We have extensive experience in algorithm and software development, system prototyping, performance prediction and monitoring, and project management.
The following projects illustrate many of those we have been involved with.
  • Galileo CDE1, Algorithm Prototyping for the Orbit Determination and Time Synchronization (OD&TS) Processing Facility
  • Galileo Phase C0, Support to Ground Mission Segment
  • Galileo System Test Bed Version 1 E-OSPF, generation of the Navigation and Signal In Space Accuracy (SISA) products
The successful completion of these projects also enabled us to build the following much wider variety of project and technical expertise.
  • Inter-frequency Bias Estimation
  • Single Frequency Ionospheric Modeling
  • Ionospheric Disturbance Identification
  • Tropospheric Modeling algorithms
  • On-line Signal-In-Space-Accuracy Integrity
  • Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring Algorithms
  • Quality of Service Integrity
  • OD&TS Product Check
  • Carrier Phase Ambiguity Resolution Techniques
  • Carrier Phase Cycle Slip Detection and Repair
  • Development and Delivery of software to DAL-D, DAL-E and Galileo Software Standards
